Black Cat casts Halloween in an uncanny purple glow, pairing transparent and opaque purple bulbs for a string that feels equal parts old-fashioned porch light, carnival midway, and neighborhood haunted house.
Like all Tru-Tone lights, these LED bulbs are made to convincingly recreate the warmth and character of vintage incandescent C7s—without the heat, brittle wires, and temperamental behavior of the originals. The ten-light string is finished with Tru-Tone’s soft, twisted retro-style wiring in two-tone black, while the gloriously illustrated box looks as though it might have been waiting on a hardware-store shelf since 1958.
Hang them in a window, wind them through a Halloween display, or illuminate the path for whatever may be prowling after dark. And yes, we would absolutely keep the box.
